Let me introduce to you the ultimate family horse! Meet Poprocks standing 15 hands tall , 15 years old, and super easy on the eyes! From the trails to the arena and even riding in town he always has a super quiet and willing demeanor! He is the go to for all our city friends/relatives to ride and has taught many beginners the basic maneuvers in the arena. He has been shown many years all summer long and it shows with how well he carries himself and transitions into his gaits. He takes his leads both ways, remains collected, stops, and backs all with ease. He has a one hand neck rein, side passes, pivots both ways. The best part- leave Pop Rocks sit all winter long and he will be the same exact horse in the spring! He has NEVER offered to buck, bite, rear, or kick. On the trail Pop Rocks goes anywhere you point him! He is typically the leader as we know he will go down any trail without hesitation helping give the other horses confidence as well but he is just fine with hanging in the back of the pack and plodding along! He loves water and loves mud even more- I guess you could say that’s his one vice? Thankfully he loves bathes just as much it’s just a pain to wash him so much! He will ride out alone or in group. Gets along well in a mixed heard. No maintenance or vices! We absolutely love this guy but it is time for him to go make another family happy!
