If gentle, quiet, and safe are at the top of your priority list, look no further, here is your guy! Lane is a drop dead gorgeous palomino pony that is 8 years old and standing 14.2 hands tall. Lane is built exactly how one should be. He is thick made, has all 4 clean legs and is sound. Lane is the type of horse you can pull out of the pasture once a month and ride off the same every time. He is a beautiful mover and will have a nice one hand neck rein on him, will walk, jog with a good headset, and lope easy steady circles in the arena following with a big stop. Picks up both leads easily and will side passes to open and shut gates. Lane has also been used to sort cows and has had a rope thrown off of him. Lane would be best suited for a youth, beginner to intermediate rider as he has been used as a family horse for the past couple of years. Teaching the young ones how to ride in the arena and being used as a guest trail horse that we put the in experienced friends on that have never rode before. Lane is a point and go type of horse out on the trail and will cross over any obstacle or go through the toughest terrain, always keeping his rider safe. On the ground lane is as gentle as they come, he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He has great ground manners, stands tied very nicely, never pawing or nickering. Picks up all four feet, is great for the farrier, vet, to bath and tack up. He is also easy to catch in a big pasture and is in the middle of the pecking order. He loads in the trailer perfectly and hauls quietly. He is selling with a current negative Coggins, rabies and recent deworming.
