Meet Blue River Wrangler
This awesome boy is the perfect combination of cool, calm, and kind that his bloodline is known for. We stood River’s grandsire “Silverado’s Sun Dancer” until he was 12, and then we gelded him and enjoyed the trails with him until he was 29 when he passed. River like his grand sire, has a willing mind and is very sure-footed. He’s been trail ridden across several states and through abundance of various terrains. He prefers to lead but is happy in any position. He backs easily and stands parked out to get on. This boy catches himself in the pasture, just walk up to the pasture and hold the halter up, and he puts his head right in. He gets along great with other horses in the pasture and tends to be in the middle of the herd. River stands beautifully for the farrier, clipping, bathing, and stands great in the cross ties. He loads and unloads himself. He is used to all sorts of wildlife and is caught grazing with turkeys and deer in his pasture. He’s also very familiar with dogs. He can be ridden bareback, double, English or western. River is very affectionate, just be ready for him to be a pest if you feed him too many treats. If you’re looking for a personable and highly intelligent gelding, look no further.
