He has seen more country and more bright lights than most have. Chester is no stranger to the bright lights and action that the Fort Worth stockyards rodeo brings! He has spent many Friday and Saturday nights being a pickup horse not only in that arena but many others from Texas to New Mexico. Chester knows his job being a pickup horse. He’s good at it and knows exactly where to be. If you are an amateur and wanting to learn the ropes to be a pickup man then he’s your guy! Chester has spent 2 summers being the horse beginners use at the trick riding camp. So he’s use to people flopping and flipping all over him. He has doctored and pasture roped more cattle than I could begin to count. Beginner riders have ridden him in the arena and outside the arena as well. Out on the ranch he crosses water, logs, bridges and navigates through heavy brush with confidence. He is not a horse that gets shook up and nervous. I have also ridden my 3 year old little girl through several grand entries at rodeos during the summer on him. Chester is one of those horses when you’ve had a hard day at work or you need one handy enough to go do a job and count on, he’s the one you’re gonna catch. He can stay turned out with several horses and gets along just fine with anything in the pasture. He is not a dominant gelding in the herd either. Chester is sound and sane in every way. Può stare fuori con diversi cavalli e va d'accordo con qualsiasi cosa al pascolo. Non è nemmeno un castrone dominante nella mandria. Chester è sano e salvo sotto ogni punto di vista.
